Hi, I’m Chef Jacquie Hogan. I created The Highly Personal Chef in 2015. With over 15 years in hospitality, I’ve always had a passion for connecting with people over food. When I was a teenager, I was asked to help out with a private catering event at the client’s home. I loved how personal it was to be welcomed into someone’s home to help them host a stress-free party and enjoy time with family and friends.
I went from waiting tables at various culinary outlets and curating gift baskets at Harry & David to helping customers in Trader Joe's and creating breathtaking dessert buffets. All the while, I maintained few private catering clients. When I felt like I had lost my way after graduating with a BA in Psychology, I attended a culinary program to hone my culinary skills and technique. After working at Doral Arrowwood for a few years, I was ready to set out on my own and begin my journey as The Highly Personal Chef.
All of that experience and more goes into the planning and preparation for each and every client.
